The Story Behind Care Performance Systems
Care Performance Systems was created to bridge the gap between clinical expertise and workforce performance. By combining physiotherapy knowledge with measurable workforce insights, we help care providers build safer workplaces, healthier staff and stronger organisations.

Designed for Aged Care
Why We Started
For years, workforce safety in aged care has relied heavily on compliance training, mandatory education and incident reporting. While these are important, they often identify problems only after an injury has already occurred. Care Performance Systems was created to take a preventative approach by measuring workforce capability before injuries happen.
Instead of relying on assumptions, organisations receive objective clinical data that helps improve staff capability, reduce workplace injuries and support better operational decisions.

Meet the Founder
Care Performance Systems was founded by Darragh Bourke, a qualified physiotherapist with clinical experience across hospitals, community rehabilitation, private practice and residential aged care.
Working directly alongside nurses, carers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams provided firsthand insight into the physical demands placed on frontline staff every day.
It became clear that while organisations collected extensive information after injuries occurred, there was very little objective data measuring workforce capability before injuries happened.
Care Performance Systems was created to bridge that gap by combining clinical assessment with meaningful workforce performance insights that help organisations make smarter, evidence-based decisions.
